Jackson and Jayci - Engagements & Wedding

2/1/14

Today was an interesting day for photography. It was a cold grey day mixed with moments of brilliant blue skies and hot sunshine.

I had so much fun taking this beautiful couple's engagement pictures! Even though it was only degrees with snow flurries... these two made my job easy! I like to incorporate elements into the session that mean something to those I'm photographing. Jayci was thinking along the same lines and already had significant locations picked out. For this session we went to the restaurant where they met/worked/catered together, Dry Canyon where they had one of their first dates, and a historic restaurant in Logan.

Jayci and Jackson catered together so, we thought it would be fun to throw in a shot with a buffet table set up for a catered event.

The Bluebird is like stepping back in time.

Scrabble is significant to Jayci and Jackson. I wanted to incorporate the amazing Scrabble game Jayci made for Jackson.

It was so cold in Dry Canyon that they had to wrap up between poses.

Jayci loved the idea of  bundled up hot chocolate pictures. Based on how cute these turned out, I have to say it was a great call!
